Lilit Asatryan is a founder and the President of “Armenian Young Women’s Association” NGO (AYWA).
Lilit Asatryan has graduated Yerevan State University, faculty of Economics. She has started her activity in youth field since studying at school. Besides being involved in Civil Society activities, she has got an experience in the state field, too.
From 2003 to 2005 she used to be a Deputy Minister of Culture and Youth Affairs of the Republic of Armenia (responsible for youth affairs).
From 2005 to 2007 she worked for “HAYASTAN” All-Armenian Fund, as an Adviser of Youth Issues to the Executive Director of the Fund.
At the same time, in 2006-2007 she used to be the Chief Editor of “New View” Armenian Youth Weekly Newspaper.
Since 2009, March Lilit Asatryan is a Member of the Public Council of the Republic of Armenia.
Since 2008, September – a Coordination Board member of “Woman-Leader” forum of Armenia and a Member of Millenium Challenge Account-Armenia (MCA-Armenia) Program Stakeholders’ Committee.
Since 2007 – an Editorial Team member of “Coyote” European Youth Magazine.
Since 2006 – a Board member of National Youth Council of Armenia.
Since 2004 -a member of European Steering Committee on Youth (CDEJ).
Lilit Asatryan is an expert of Youth issues on National and European levels.
Lilit Asatryan has been awarded by: the Council of Youth Issues upon the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia (“For Valuable Activity in the Filed of Youth”) in 2001; the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia (’’For Valuable Role, Active Participation and Investment in Politics of Youth Field”) in 2003; Fritjof Nansen Foundation of Armenia with Fritjof Nansen’s Gold medal and Diploma, in 2007.
