Dried fruit production is a tradition and carried out in nearly all regions of Armenia. It can be considered one of the most promising areas of Armenian agriculture. Home-made dried fruits are quite common in many Armenian families.
Teacher by profession Armenuhi Aghababian is one of the thousands of women who are engaged in agricultural products processing particularly dried fruits production.
Mrs. Armenuhi's organizational skills help her to organize the work without loss of time. She also has absolutely no lose of fruits and vegetables because she process almost everything. She gets high quality dried fruits and from product that unfit for cultivation, she makes home- made drinks.
The business started by the support of the Project and the grant. "The program gave me confidence. I realized that I could start my own business and be helpful to others."
