Business Success Formula:
To be tolerant, reach consensus, be persistent
Back in 2005 I initiated an activity which was not only unknown to people but also unacceptable for all but a few. People were not able to grasp the meaning of small morsels within the light of rich tables laid by Armenians. However, the persistence, target and principle -driven nature, the ability to never give up and the wish to create beauty have soon given the first results. The culture of “buffet-table” started being accepted step by step. Throughout this heated struggle I have always been surrounded by my family members and friends. They have always believed in my own strengths from the very beginning. They used to encourage me, and did not allow to break down, they showed their assistance in the process of carrying out preparatory activities for buffet-tables, and were beside me in all my undertakings. This encouragement continues till now. The friendly treatment towards customers, my ability to make their ideas and dreams come true encouraged the creation of an army of loyal customers.
The outcomes are tempting: good fame, respect, colleagues, loyal customers, recognition: these were the results that I have been longing for.
It is quite difficult to register results being all alone. There are always sagacious people beside the successful ones who always encourage and are ready to help.
The Armenian Young Women’s Association was there to encourage my personal growth and subsequently my business. The people involved in the project has been assembled to assist the realization of our dreams. By transmitting professional knowledge and implementing myriad projects AYWA has showed a helpful hand to many entrepreneurs, me including. In my life Armenian Young Women’s Association (AYWA) became the impulse which urged me to expand the scope of my operations and to start a new activity.
Since 2013, AYWA has been carrying out the
“Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia” project which is funded by the European Union. The Project allows women to participate in business trainings, to present new and interesting ideas and to be awarded grants meant for implementing the ideas in practice.
I was the one among dozens who participated in the trainings and were awarded a grant. Currently, I have initiated the implementation of a new business – production of semi-finished products, thanks to the assistance of AYWA and the EU.
My advice to women entrepreneurs, who want to start a business would be: “Carry the beauty in your souls, be patient, listen to what the customer says, be tolerant, reach consensus, be ready to yield, adapt and always struggle persistently”
