Business Success Formula:
Be diligent and dedicated in any job

I am Ani Khachatrayn, doctor-dermatologist by profession. Now I have my own business. I was the pioneer to set up a kid’s café and it is the fifth year that my business is developing and thriving.
We offer a number of services at the café: organization of birthday parties, christenings, tooth parties and other corporate events, designing buffet tables for children. We have a group of cartoon characters, which is replenished on regular basis.
I have participated in many professional trainings organized by Armenian Young Women’s Association, in a number of conferences and discussions on entrepreneurship, which help me to develop my knowledge on right business management and on finding new partners. These types of meetings inspired me. I wanted to develop my business and to have a more solid ground in this sphere. At that time I learnt that Armenian Young Women’s Association (AYWA) was implementing a European Union funded project “Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia” and I decided to join it.
In 2015 I participated in a one-month business training, presented my business plan and it got approval.
Thanks to the grant received through the project, I set up a bakery in the territory of the café, which had such a high demand. Before that we used to buy cookies from Yerevan, as the quality of the ones made in Vanadzor was lower. The first consumers were the café’s loyal clients. The product is also consumed in city and regional market. We produce creative and thematic cookies. Before starting the work, our specialists had trainings in Yerevan.
