Business Success Formula:
To Break Stereotypes and Reach Success
My success story started from the point when I took part in the business trainings organized in Tashir in the framework of the “Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia” project, which is funded by European Union.
Since ancient times the Armenian woman was considered the embodiment of goodness, care, and kindness. She has carried and still carries many difficulties on her shoulders. I have been sure that an Armenian woman is capable of carrying out any kind of work and even getting involved in business, which is still considered a monopoly of a man.
But the fact, that I myself could be involved in business, was a discovery for me. The trainings made me believe in me, my strength and knowledge. It made me take risks, break the stereotypes and have a success. Now I can surely say that success is a tangible value.
And to have success we need such organizations as Armenian Young Women’s Association (AYWA) such people, who lead and support beginner businesswomen and me. It is really very important when one feels loyal and strong people’s presence next to her/him. It gives extra energy to me - a beginner. It provides aspiration to reach more serious success, and new ways of stepping forward with more confidence.
