Since 2004 “Armenian Young Women’s Association” succeeded implementation of number of programmes, projects and initiatives in various spheres, including civic education, public health, women leadership, business/ entrepreneurship, youth newspaper publishing, etc. Among the main achievements is establishment of Youth Centres networking. Currently 3 Youth Centres in the capital Yerevan, Vayots Dzor and Lori regions are operational and the fourth Center is to be established in the nearest future. The Armenian Youth Center Network is a member of European networks of Youth Centres and European Governance Network.
The organization closely cooperates with Armenian government, UN agencies, bilateral/multilateral organizations, Council of Europe as well as with International and local NGOs. AYWA has established partner relationships with non-governmental organizations in Europe, CIS and Balkan republics.
The president of AYWA is a board Member of National Youth Council of Armenia, Coordination Board Member of “Woman-Leader” forum of Armenia, Member of European Steering Committee on Youth, Editorial Team Member of “Coyote” European Youth Magazine.
