INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON WOMEN ENTREPRENEURSHIP "VISION OF NEW DEVELOPMENTS"

From June 8th till 11th, AYWA (Armenian Young Women’s Association) and WENA (Women Entrepreneurs Network in Armenia) are announcing “Women Entrepreneurs Week in Yerevan”, which will include different events.
Within “Women Entrepreneurs Week in Yerevan,” AYWA (Armenian Young Women’s Association) and WENA (Women Entrepreneurs Network in Armenia) are organizing the “Vision of New Developments” International Conference on Women Entrepreneurship, under the umbrella of FCEM (World Association of Women Entrepreneurs).
Armenian Young Women’s Association is the representative of the Republic of Armenia in the World Association of Women Entrepreneurs.
“Vision of New Developments” International Conference on Women Entrepreneurship will take place from June 8th till 11th.
“Vision of New Developments” International Conference on Women Entrepreneurship includes:
  • A conference
  • Visits to businesses and corporations
  • EXPO with the opportunity to organize bilateral and multilateral meetings
  • B2B meetings
  • Exhibition of work by female artists
  • Cultural programs

Within the international conference, the “Women Entrepreneur Ambassador Award" will be awarded to participants of the conference. Beginning in 2011, this award has become one of the most encouraging events organized by AYWA and WENA.
The aim of the “Women Entrepreneur Ambassador Award” is to promote female entrepreneurs in Armenia who have success stories, and who, along with the implementation of successful economic activity, are actively involved in public life.
During the international conference there will also be an opportunity to discuss issues related to female entrepreneurship.
At the end of the conference, a resolution concerning the promotion of female entrepreneurship at both the national and international levels is expected to be adopted.
“Our aim is to highlight the importance of female entrepreneurship as well as to give them an opportunity to communicate with female entrepreneurs involved in various international organizations and running large enterprises, which will bring cooperation”-said the president of Armenian Young Women’s Association Lilit Asatryan.
The goals of the International Conference on Women Entrepreneurship are to: create the links and strengthen cooperation between female entrepreneurs and business owners in Armenia and abroad, to promote the development of women’s entrepreneurship, to improve the business environment for small and medium entrepreneurship, and to implement the establishment of business investments and joint ventures.
Famous female entrepreneurs from different countries, FCEM members, representatives of businesses, state bodies, financial structures, international organizations, public sector, mass media and experts are invited to participate in the conference.
The ambassadors of different countries in Armenia, representatives of international structures, organizations and individuals involved in women’s entrepreneurship expressed their readiness to participate in the International Conference.
The World Association of Women Entrepreneurs (FCEM) under the umbrella of which the International Conference on Women Entrepreneurship will be held, is the world's largest and most influential non-governmental organizations.
FCEM is the pioneer association uniting female business owners from over 120 different countries and 5 million members. FCEM has advisory status at the UN, Council of Europe, the International Labor Organization and the European Parliament.
World President FCEM is Laura Frati Gucci.
The organizer of the conference, Armenian Young Women’s Association, has founded and is coordinating Women Entrepreneurs' Network of Armenia which unifies more than 300 female entrepreneurs in Armenia. Through Women Entrepreneurs Network in Armenia AYWA encourages and supports the establishment of relations between women entrepreneurs in Armenia and abroad.
It is anticipated that within the “Women Entrepreneurs Week in Yerevan,” the president of the World Association of Women Entrepreneurs, Laura Gucci, and the princess of Kuwait, will be joining us. The princess is the president of the Arab Women Entrepreneurs Association and is one of the world's 100 most influential women in the world. We will also be joined by other members of presidency of the World Association of Women Entrepreneurs, including those working in renewable and alternative energy technologies sectors as well as other important sectors. They will arrive in Armenia by the invitation of the Armenian Young Women's association and the Women Entrepreneurs Network in Armenia.
