The Institute for War and Peace Reporting Armenia Branch (IWPR) announces
internship program available to all qualified candidates. The IWPR Armenia
Branch invites qualified inexperienced candidates/students to submit their
resumes.

The IWPR Internship Program offers career-related work experience to
students and other interested individuals. The internship program provides
individuals with professional experience required by most employers and
assists them in the development of key skills that will be beneficial for
their future careers.

Every IWPR intern will be assigned a mentor who will work with the intern to
assess individual goals and performance throughout the internship. Each
intern will complete a pre, mid, and post assessment designed to determine
skills they would like to develop, progress being made, overall performance
and professional growth. IWPR internships last 1-3 month, are non-paid,
however, upon successful completion of the internship, IWPR will provide
interns with a certificate of appreciation and reference letter upon
request.

The internship program serves to:

• Provide practical work experience to balance the students' theoretical
training
• Assist students in identifying and acquiring the skills needed to enter a
chosen field
• Allow students to meet and learn from professionals in the field and
develop a
network of contacts
• Reinforce and strengthen the interns’ personal values and career
