Business Success Formula for:
Hardships are existent for being surmounted

I founded “Kara and Karen” LLC in 1999-2000. Back then, there were almost no businesses founded and run by women. It was quite difficult for me, since there were no consultation organizations and the information of the legal field was incomplete. I am inclined to believe that in order to carry out their operations throughout the aforesaid period of time businessmen were to have a strong will. I examined the market of Lori region and understood that the region was in need of “Narine” dairy production and decided to initiate that. Throughout the first couple of years my endeavours were almost in vain. However, I firmly believed in what I was doing and my belief helped me to succeed. I encountered huge hardships while solving financial and legal issues. And yet, within the span of these years I harvested relevant knowledge which helped me to become more confident and strong.
Afterwards, I decided to expand my business and it was at this point that Armenian Young Women’s Association (AYWA) showed me a helpful hand. In 2015 I participated in business trainings organized by AYWA in the framework of the “Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia” project which was funded by the EU. Upon the termination of the aforesaid courses, I presented the business plan of launching butter production line which received approval.
Currently I have my production realized in Lori, Shirak and Tavush regions and in Yerevan. The cooperation with the AYWA gave its positive outcomes. I managed to establish new ties, find new colleagues, new opportunities. I have participated in an array of trainings which also had a positive impact of the establishment of my business.
In this era a businesswoman mustn’t try to evade issues and hardships since the latter are for being surmounted.
