Business Success Formula:
Patience and willpower
Bread production is a highly developed industry in Armenia and is one of the most stable sectors of the economy. Frankly, it is difficult to innovate in this industry because it is already highly developed. Many said that my field entry is negligible in the grand scheme of things. Nonetheless, I decided to do what I had long dreamed of.
My business entails flax flour bread production. However, the use of flax flour bread baking technology is not sufficient for starting a successful business. It is also essential to develop business skills and expand one’s knowledge of the field. My dream came true when I attended the “Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia” project, implemented by the Armenian Young Women’s Association (AYWA) and the European Union. In the framework of the latter, I attended a number of courses and acquired basic knowledge of the industry. In addition, I participated in abusiness trainings, developed a business plan and presented it to the committee. The grant was awarded after the approval of my business plan, and the necessary equipment was purchased. Today, the idea of flax flour bread production is an active business.
Not only has the business contributed to the improvement of my family’s social conditions, but also to some extent has alleviated some problems within the community. Thanks to my business, people have access to ecologically clean, high quality, healthy flax flour bread.
I hope to achieve even greater success during my career and accomplish all my goals.
