In the frame of “Active women in the rural communities of Armenia” project, the presentation of business plans of Ashtarak business training participants took place. AYWA partners – from USAID CEED, “SEF International” credit company, “New horizon” credit Company also participated as selection committee members.
“Active women in the rural communities of Armenia” project is being implemented by the Armenian Young Women’s Association, in partnership with Asian Development Bank, within the frames of North-South road corridor program.
The project is designed for women farmers, rural community organizations, formal and non-formal groups of women farmers from Yerevan, Ashtarak and Ararat and surrounding communities. The aim of the project is encourage women farmers and empower their abilities. The project also aims to contribute to mainstreaming rural women issues into priority agenda.
