Local Economic Development model café was held in Alaverdi within Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia Project. Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia Project has being implemented by Armenian Young Women’s Association (AYWA) and is funded by the European Union. This event was a round-table discussion with the purpose to brainstorm solutions for the economic problems in the communities.

The presentation of business plans developed by the participants of the training on business proposal development took place in Shnogh, Lori region. The training was conducted within Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia Project, which is being implemented by Armenian Young Women’s Association (AYWA) and funded by the European Union.

Entrepreneurship training within Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia Project has launched in Lori region Akhtala community. The project is implemented by the Armenian Young Women's Association (AYWA) and financed by the European Union.

LED model development process has launched in Lori region for Alaverdi cluster communities (Alaverdi, Haghpat, Sanahin, Akner, Odzun, Akori, Madan, Kachachkut, Hagvi, Ardvi, Tsaghkashat). The LED model development is being implemented within Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia Project. The project is implemented by the Armenian Young Women's Association (AYWA) and financed by the European Union.

“Female Food Hero-2014” fourth Award was held. “Female Food Hero” project has launched on 2012, by the initiative of Armenian Young Women’s Association and OXFAM, within OXFAM’s global GROW campaign. The purpose of “Female Food Hero” project is to encourage active and successful women entrepreneurs in agricultural and farm sectors in Armenia, who succeeded to implement positive changes in their activity and to contribute to local community/communities' sustainable development.

The presentation of the Local Economic Development (LED) model for Akhtala town and the neighboring communities of Shamlough, Ayrum and Chochkan was held in Akhtala Municipality, which was developed by “Competitive advantages participation evaluation” methodology.
The LED model presentation was organized in the framework of the project “Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia”, which is implemented by “Armenian Young Women’s Association” NGO and financed by the European Union.

The regular meeting of members of Women Entrepreneurs Network in Armenia was held at the office of Armenian Young Women’s Association, during which participants defined the network's actions and initiative plans for upcoming months. They also discussed the issues for activation and strengthening the network. The meeting took place in an introductory course the theme of which was "Strategic Planning and Network Cooperation".

The regular meeting of members of Women Entrepreneurs Network in Armenia was held at the office of Armenian Young Women’s Association. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the network's upcoming initial action plan as well as the exchange of information and suggestions.
