Within Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia Project entrepreneurship course has launched in Odzun community of Lori region. The project is implementing by the Armenian Young Women’s Association (AYWA) and is funded by the European Union.
Active and beginner women entrepreneurs, agriculturists, representatives of formal and non-formal women’s groups from Odzun, Mghart, Hagvi, Karmir Aghek communities participated in trainings.

Training for mass media representatives was held in Armenian Young Women’s Association office. The training was conducted within Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia Project which is implementing by AYWA and is funded by the European Union.

Within the "Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia" project seminar was held in Akhtala. The women participating in the seminar from Shnogh, Teghut, Akhtala, Chochkan communities were awarded with grants on April 30.

The general meeting of Armenian Young Women’s Association was held for the members of AYWA, volunteers, beneficiaries, sympathizers and members of Women Entrepreneurs Network in Armenia which is established and coordinated by the Armenian Young Women’s Association.

The presentation of the Local Economic Development (LED) model for Tumanyan town and the neighboring communities of Kharinj, Marts, Lorut, Shamut, Chkalov, Dsegh, Dzoraget was held on May 27, 2014 in Tumanyan Community Centre. It was developed through "Participatory Evaluation of Competitive Advantages" methodology.
The LED model presentation was organized in the framework of the project “Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia”, which is implemented by “Armenian Young Women’s Association” NGO and financed by the European Union.

The presentation of marketing plans of the business proposals developed by the participants of the training on business proposal development took place in Stepanavan. The training was conducted within Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia Project. The participants presented their business ideas, projects for their development, as well as the competitive advantages and weaknesses of their initiatives.

Armenian Young Women’s Association (AYWA) participated in the information exhibition dedicated to the celebration of Europe Day in Yerevan.
During the event more than 60 EU-supported projects were presented to visitors. The projects related to the development of youth and education, poverty reduction, trade, culture, environment, business, social and economic reforms and other sectors.
AYWA presented the EU-funded Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia Project.

The process of LED model development has launched in Lori region for Vanadzor cluster communities (Vanadzor, Arjut, Darpas, Lernapat, Bazum, Gugarq, Pambak, Shahumyan, Margahovit, Fialetovo, Lermontovo). The LED model development is being implemented within Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia Project.The project is implemented by the Armenian Young Women's Association (AYWA) and financed by the European Union.
