On August 22 of 2014, president of Armenian Young Women’s Association (AYWA) Lilit Asatryan climbed mount Ararat waving the AYWA's flag and dedicating the ascent AYWA’s 10th anniversary.

In US Alumni Association of Armenia president of Armenian Young Women’s Association Lilit Asatryan presented “Joint Efforts for Development” project implemented with the support of US Department of State.

The 6th traditional barbeque festival was held with the support and participation of Armenian Young Women’s Association (AYWA) in Akhtala.
The teams of the Ministry of Defense of RA, the students of special schools and Vanadzor orphanage, Armenian restaurants and also teams from Georgia were participated in the festival.

Armenian Young Women’s Association (AYWA) participated in the third intercommunal “Odzun’s treasure” festival, which was held in Odzun community of Lori region.
Various products of “HayKar” social enterprise, works of carpeting and pottery groups established by the initiative of AYWA in different communities of Lori region were presented to the visitors.

Armenian Young Women’s Association participated in “Cultural renaissance” festival of carpet weaving and decorative applied arts, which was held in Dilijan.

The pottery group was founded in Akhtala by Armenian Young Women’s Association. Within the group the first course was held at AYWA Akhtala office. The course is for young women and girls from Akhtala and neighboring communities.

Within the working visit to Lori region RA Prime minister Hovik Abrahamyan also visited Akhtala. In Akhtala the prime minister make a tour to Akhtala mining and processing enterprise, attended the opening of newly renovated kindergarten and children’s park. Within the visit RA prime minister Hovik Abrahamyan got acquainted with the activity of Armenian Young Women’s Association (AYWA) particularly projects implemented in Lori and upcoming initiatives.

The presentation of results of the Local Economic Development (LED) model for Spitak town and the neighboring communities of Lernancq, Jrashen, Lernavan, Saramej, Shirakamut, Geghasar, Sarahart, Shenavan, Qaradzor, Ghursali, was held in Spitak.
The LED model presentation was organized in the framework of the project “Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia”, which is implemented by “Armenian Young Women’s Association” NGO and funded by the European Union.

An informative training for representatives of Women Councils in Lori region was established by the initiative Armenian Young Women’s Association (AYWA) which was held in Akhtala city hall of Lori region.
