The presentation of business plans developed by the participants of the training on business proposal development took place in Alaverdi, Lori region. The training was conducted within Social and Economic Empowerment of Woman in Armenia Project, which is being implemented by Armenian Young Women’s Association (AYWA) and funded by the European Union.

Grant Award ceremony of currently selected business projects as a result of entrepreneurship trainings was held in Vanadzor municipality for Akhtala, Shnogh, Teghut and Chochkan communities. Grants award ceremony was organized in the framework of the Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia Project which is implemented by the Armenian Young Women’s Association (AYWA) and funded by the European Union.

Local Economic Development model café was held in Vanadzor within Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia Project.
Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia Project has being implemented by Armenian Young Women’s Association (AYWA) and is funded by the European Union. This event was a round-table discussion with the purpose to brainstorm solutions for the economic problems in the communities.

The presentation of marketing plans of the business proposals developed by the participants of the training on business proposal development took place in Alaverdi. The training was conducted within Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia Project. The participants presented their business ideas, projects for their development, as well as the competitive advantages and weaknesses of their initiatives.

The presentation of the Local Economic Development (LED) model for Alaverdi town and the neighboring communities of Haghpat, Odzun, Akori, Ardvi, Hagvi, Jiliza, Kachachkut and Tsaxkashat was held on April 22, 2014 in Alaverdi Community Centre. It was developed through "Participatory Evaluation of Competitive Advantages" methodology. The LED model presentation was organized in the framework of the project “Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia”, which is implemented by “Armenian Young Women’s Association” NGO and financed by the European Union.

A press conference for mass media took place in Akhtala. The event was organized by the EU in Armenia and Armenian Young Women’s Association within Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia Project. During the event the project’s current achievements and results were presented to the participants.

Armenian Young Women’s Association’s open-air charity fair took place, which was dedicated to Women’s day. AYWA had organized an open-air charity fair within the framework of its 10th anniversary, with the support of "The development and maintenance of Armenian Culinary Traditions" NGO.

A press conference dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Armenian Young Women’s Association was held in “Henaran” club. The speakers of press conference are the president of Armenian Young Women’s Association Lilit Asatryan, members of Women Entrepreneurs network in Armenia founded by AYWA Laura Kocharyan and Gayane Khachatryan, members of “Girls state” movement Ani Karapetyan and Tatevik Apyan.
