In the frame of “Active women in the rural communities of Armenia” project, closing ceremony of the business seminar in Ashtarak has taken place.

“Active women in the rural communities of Armenia” project is being implemented by the Armenian Young Women’s Association, in partnership with Asian Development Bank, within the frames of North-South road corridor program.
The project is designed for women farmers, rural community organizations, formal and non-formal groups of women farmers from Yerevan, Ashtarak and Ararat and surrounding communities. The aim of the project is encourage women farmers and empower their abilities. The project also aims to contribute to mainstreaming rural women issues into priority agenda.
